It is with great sadness that on Sunday 24th October we learnt that one of the two young men murdered in Brentwood was a player from our Tigers U17’s Yellow team.
Frankie Gater was an influential player who was looked upto by his team mates, coaches and manager who are all united and supporting each other at this time of grieving
The club are in utter shock over the callous murder of two teenagers who were just starting their adult life.
Tigers JFC have made a donation to Frankie’s family via a Go Fund Me page set up by TAKSAL (Take a Knife save a Life) with all the proceeds going to his family for support at this tragic time.
Anybody that would like to donate please go to https://gofund.me/427be912
The Club will also be tying Electric Green and Baby Blue Ribbons around Bretons Outdoor Centre and our local areas over the next few weeks which are the colours the families have requested for the boys to be represented around the local communities.
Please come along and help us show the community that we care and our thoughts are with Frankie & Charlie’s families as Ribbons will be available at the Tigers Cubs and Wildcats area on Saturday mornings from 9:00 till 10:15am
